What this page is. When CareCost Estimate publishes something inaccurate on a reference page — a coding example, a billing-unit definition, an ASP value, an eligibility rule, anything that would change a billing decision or a published estimate — we record the correction here. Each entry names the page, describes what was wrong and what is now correct, dates the fix, and where applicable links to the source that drove the change. Trivial typo fixes are exempt; anything material is logged.

How corrections work

Reader-reported issues go to editorial@carecostestimate.com and are triaged within two business days by the CareCost editorial team. Confirmed corrections that affect a billing or coding decision in current use are prioritized and normally ship within five business days; the affected page is re-reviewed and re-dated, and a new entry appears below. Was: Reference pages displayed an external-reviewer byline with corresponding structured data (JSON-LD author and reviewedBy fields) and a dedicated reviewer profile page.

Now: The reviewer profile page has been removed and external-reviewer attribution markup, structured-data references, and footer links have been removed across all drug, modifier, and trust pages. Reference pages indicate editorial review by the CareCost editorial team.

Why: External reviewer attribution was removed. Pages are now presented as reviewed by the CareCost editorial team.
